DESCRIPTION:

The VSE AccuSensor (Model VS-1030) is a revolutionary shock sensor (Impact Sensor).  It is revolutionary because the design allows it to be very finely calibrated by learning the EXACT level of sensitivity required.
Unlike conventional sensors that are manually adjusted with a knob, AccuSensor automatically "learns" its sensitivity, and stores its calibration in non-volatile memory.  This completely eliminates the often tedious, time wasting, inaccurate trial-and-error sensitivity adjustment of the common knob-type units.  This calibration method also makes for quick and easy sensitivity re-adjustments should they be necessary due to parking a vehicle in a new or more threatening location.  The procedure for making re-adjustments is so simple and straight forward, most people can learn to perform them easily.
In addition, since the AccuSensor is electronically calibrated, its sensitivity range consists of 100 steps.   Since even the most patient installer might only be able to get 30 or 40 steps of resolution from a knob type sensor, this is a vast improvement.
Once calibrated, the sensitivity threshold is maintained, virtually forever, in a non-volatile memory.  This means that should power be removed, such as during the replacement of the vehicle's battery, the AccuSensor will remember its sensitivity threshold , eliminating any need to re-calibrate when power is restored.
